LSBU Croydon information point opened to answer new university campus questions
LSBU staff will answer questions at the new office on Caithness Walk, near East Croydon Station, which is open 10am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday.
LSBU Croydon will feature simulated wards to train the next generation of NHS nurses, a chiropractic clinic accessible to the local population and a business enterprise zone. LSBU Croydon health labs and simulation facilities will replicate real-life wards to give students the skills they need to join the NHS workforce of the future and provide first-class care.
LSBU currently trains a quarter of nurses in London and has 3,500 nursing and health and social care students enrolled. LSBU Croydon will also train students in business, accounting and finance.
Professor Patrick Bailey, LSBU Provost, said, “We’ve already had a huge number of enquiries from people who want to study at our new LSBU Croydon university campus which opens next year. Our team will be delighted to answer your questions about the university, from our cutting-edge health and business courses to our new state-of-the-art campus.
“Applications for LSBU Croydon courses in 2021 are already open. Staff at our information point will be able to answer any questions from potential students, residents and businesses about the new campus in Croydon. LSBU Croydon will provide students with a personalised and practical education to set them up for successful careers.”
