New year, new academic structure for LSBU

London South Bank University (LSBU) has launched its new academic structure . This has involved combining ten schools of study into three Colleges, each with three or four constituent Schools, to facilitate enhanced strategic leadership across related subject areas and promote collaboration between teaching and research.

The new colleges are the College of Technology and Environment, the College of Health and Life Sciences and the College of Society and Professions, led by Executive Deans and Heads of School as follows:

Professor Tara Dean, Provost of LSBU, said: “We are delighted that our new Colleges and Schools are in place. Our new Executive Deans, with their Heads of Schools, will collaborate to create and develop outstanding student experiences, cultivate research and knowledge exchange and grow our partnerships. Our new academic structure will bring positive institutional change, and I wish colleagues and their teams every success.”
