School of Built Environment and Architecture
In the School of Built Environment and Architecture, Federico Rossi (Associate Professor in Architecture and Digital Manufacturing) worked with BSRIA Ltd to survey some buildings in their possession. Using his expertise, Federico carried out a laser imaging, detection, and ranging (LIDAR) survey of BSRIA’s premises and produced 3D modelling data, a 3D mesh model, and finally, a range of 360-degree images, each tagged with its location and scan positions. The final deliverable was a sample image data and text to be used for the briefing of the Living Laboratory Innovation Challenge Call, led by BSRIA.
