Welcome to the College of Technology and Environment I’m Professor Chris Harty, Executive Dean, leading the Schools of Architecture and Planning, Construction, Property and Surveying, Engineering and Design, and Computer Science and Digital Technology. “The College of Technology and Environment brings together expertise in engineering, architecture and planning, the built environment, and computer science, with a strong focus on sustainability. Our interdisciplinary approach will equip students with the skills to design, build, and engineer the future. “Through our research and innovation, we collaborate with and advise international governments, from national government and global organisations, to local authorities, NGOs and myriad SMEs, driving forward industry-relevant education and impactful solutions worldwide.” Professor Chris Harty is well-known in the built environment sector. He is an expert in the interactions between organisations, people and technology in the built environment and the potential impacts of new technologies on industry practice.
