Evaluation of the NHS Appointment Management System
We conduct transformational research to improve the health and wellbeing of service users and the general population and make a difference to the ways that health and social care is deliveredEvaluation of a new hospital appointment management system
Many thanks for your interest in the study.
This is an exciting new research study evaluating a new appointment management system called DrDoctor
- We are looking for patients attending NHS outpatient appointments
- Your appointment falls under the specialities of kidney, cancer and ophthalmology (eyes)
- You must be aged 18 years or over
- You will be asked to tell us a bit about yourself via a survey (10-20 minutes)
- You will be provided with a voucher on completion of the survey
What's in it for me?
- You will receive a £10 voucher on completion of the survey
- You will potentially improve the way in which the appointment management system works in your hospital
What do I have to do?
Taking part is easy, you just need to complete a survey to tell us about yourself.
You will be asked to click on a link to the online study where you will complete some questions about your mental and physical health and service satisfaction. You will then be provided with a £10 voucher to cover your time spent completing the survey.
In total, this will take about 10-20 minutes. We therefore strongly recommend that you make sure you allow sufficient time to complete the survey fully in one go as you will not be able to return to the survey if you are only half-way through.
How can I take part?
If you would like to take part, please click here. You will need to input the code given to you by the hospital clinical team.
If you have lost the leaflet provided to you by the hospital, which contains your access code to the survey, please contact Dr Kerry Wood via email at woodk6@lsbu.ac.uk
Who is funding the study?
This is an NHS England funded study being conducted by researchers at London South Bank University. It has received ethical approval from London – Fulham Research Ethics Committee and from London South Bank University School of Applied Sciences Research Ethics Panel.
