The Whipps Cross University Hospital Trust – research barriers
The main aim of the project is to explore research participation and address barriers to research within the TrustIt involves two stages:
a) Stage 1 - literature review and audit of current research projects, and
b) Stage 2 - Perceptions and barriers of research within a specific clinic, explored with semi-structured interviews with staff and service users.
The project commenced in October 2010 and will be completed by September 2013. It has been carried out by academics from our School of Health and Social Care who are carrying out research under the theme of Health and Social Care Delivery.
The funding body for this project is Whipps Cross University Hospital Trust.
