Tell us about your research and its findings.
My research paper delved into the comparison between predictive and reactive migration in edge cloud environments. It commenced with an examination of the necessity for migration in edge devices within an edge cloud setting. This exploration was further enriched by the integration of AI and machine learning techniques, enabling the prediction of migration requirements. As the study progressed, greater attention was devoted to scalability and the feasibility of enterprise-level deployment.
The findings highlighted the advantages of predictive migration, particularly considering the remarkable accuracy of contemporary AI technologies. Notably, predictive migration anticipates sudden surges in resource demand, particularly beneficial for high-scale and enterprise contexts. The paper included modules addressing telemetry, monitoring, the establishment, and migration of containers, as well as providing forecasts for resource utilization to ensure high availability.
