We create desserts with less of the calories!
What is the problem or need you are looking to address and how does your business idea meet this need?
Many people love desserts but choose to avoid it or cut back on it for health reasons such as diabetes or for diet/weight watching issues.
In response to this, Taste n See creates desserts using a sugar alternative that does not affect blood sugar levels and does not contain a lot of calories. The amount of fats in our desserts are reduced too. In this way people can have their cake... and eat it.
What inspired your idea and business?
This way developed from an old home bakery business that I had. I thought that there's a variety of home bakers available... “how will I be different?”
As one who has struggled with weight and dieting issues and knows of people who have this issue too, plus knowing of others who struggle with diabetes and their sugar levels, I created these desserts to help us all.
What has been the best part of your entrepreneurial journey?
The best part is being creative when designing logos and other graphics needed for the business and spending time baking to develop a solid menu while recording it for the socials.
What advice would you give aspiring entrepreneurs just starting their journey?
Go for it! There's much risk when it comes to staring a business. But go for it and do your research. You can succeed,
