Financial Support
We understand that managing your finances can feel daunting, especially if budgeting is new to you. That's why we offer various support services, such as budgeting workshops and one-on-one advice sessions, to equip you with the tools and confidence needed to effectively manage your money. Have you applied for your student loan?
You don’t have to wait until you have a confirmed university place in order to apply for a tuition fee loan – the sooner you apply, the sooner your application will be processed.

Are you entitled to any additional financial support?
Students may also be entitled to help with covering their living costs. A maintenance loan could help you pay for accommodation, travel, food, books, and entertainment. There may be other circumstances that mean you need extra support to pay for your studies, such as a disability or you care for a child or adult. Disability and Dyslexia Support
We are committed to ensuring that students with any disability have equal access to all teaching and learning, reach their potential and excel in their chosen field. Working with academics we ensure that you are fully supported throughout your time with us including access to LSBU’s assistive technology and equipment.
Unsure if you need extra support? Don’t worry-we offer screenings for specific learning differences (such as dyslexia) and provide funding for a formal assessment where appropriate, to ensure you have access to the extra support you need.

Mental Health and Wellbeing
Together, we'll develop a holistic support plan tailored to your unique needs. Whether you prefer informal check-ins, formal sessions, or accessing resources online, our support is easily accessible and tailored to make you feel most comfortable. We offer pre-entry appointments to any applicants who feel they would require additional support throughout their studies. Request your appointment today.
