Digital Fabrication Facilities(DFF) first opened in 2018 following Technical Support Services(TSS) establishment in 2016.
Digital Fabrication Facilities
The DFF provides support in 3D printing, lasercutting, large format printing and photography bespoke services tailored for architecture sector with the main focus on model making and small-scale rapid prototyping. DFF also supports some areas of DARLAB (Digital Architecture and Robotic Lab)facility for research and enterprise projects which has an external presents.
DFF is equipped with a range of Desktop FDM and SLA 3D printers.
Specialist equipment from DARLAB is also hosted here. DFF hosts online depository of learning materials related to architectural design, presentation and model making. DFF also provides crucial support for some highlight events in the school calendar such as end of the year show and external exhibition. Currently DFF is supporting DARLAB research related to 3d printing process across the disciplines of architecture and engineering.

SLA 3D printer Phrozen Sonic Mighty 4K.
FDM 3D printer Ultimaker extended.
FDM 3D printer Prusa MK3+ with add-on.
For Digital design and publishing , DFF offers:
Photography studio with camera and setup suited for models and prototypes.
T830 large format printer CMYK and scanner.
iMac suite and other visual and computing resource
