Overview
This one day workshop covers all of the key techniques associated with sports taping. These are essential skills for any therapist looking to play an active role in the management of sports injuries. The skills gained will help with employment opportunities in private practice.
There are also techniques taught that will help to re-educate poor posture and the problems that are associated with it.
All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance and a technique DVD, which is an invaluable learning tool to refer back to once the course is complete.
Over the course of the day, we will cover the following:
- Plantar fascia
- Lateral ankle
- Achilles tendon
- Calf muscle
- MCL
- Patella tendon
- Patella instability
- Patella maltracking
- Lumbar spine unloading
- Lumbar spine fixation
- Shoulder retraction
- Shoulder unloading
- Elbow hyperextension
- ‘Tennis elbow’
- Wrist
- Thumb
- Fingers.
