Our on-campus workshops are designed to support your students and raise their aspirations by providing them with the tools they need to progress into Higher Education.

Please see below all the activities we are currently offering this academic year:

University 101

Are you looking to introduce your students to university life? Eager for them to understand the benefits of Higher Education and for them to get excited about their next steps? During this on-campus day, learners will gain an insight into what it means to go to university and why it might be the right choice for them.

Depending on the year group of the learners, we can also incorporate some UCAS application support into this session.

Undergraduate degrees vs degree apprenticeships

In this session, we will explain the differences between undergraduate degrees and degree apprenticeships, and their associated costs and benefits, so your learners can feel confident that they will pick the path that is right for them.

Acing your Interviews

This session is designed to support students with their application to university by helping them to develop their understanding of how interviews or auditions work. Learners will receive advice and guidance on how to prepare for and perform at interviews and will get the chance to practice their new-found skills in front of an audience.

Student for the Day

This session is designed to give your learners the chance to experience student life at London South Bank University and to build on the key skills they need to succeed as a student. They will attend bitesize sessions on how to budget and how to improve their revision and study techniques.

Design your own day!

If our other on campus events aren’t quite what you are looking for, why not design your own day with us? Contact us to let us know what your students would like to learn more about, and we can work out together what kind of sessions they would benefit most from. We can be flexible with timings to suit your schedules. We can offer a variety of sessions: an introduction to university life, making university applications and preparing for interviews, understanding Student Finance and budgeting, tours of campus, and Q&As with our Student Ambassadors.
