The landscape within healthcare is constantly changing, with rapid advances in technology and an ageing population the health workforce remains in constant flux. Professor in Health Workforce, Adéle Stewart-Lord will share her own developmental journey from training abroad and travelling to work within the UK National Health Service (NHS), and her subsequent career in health education. Using a range of pedagogical approaches she has been able to reach wider health communities, leading professionals’ development of critical thinking, which is essential for contemporary healthcare practice.

As radiographer she remains passionate about her own profession and will outline the professional development work undertaking in this area. Over the last decade she has engaged in a diverse portfolio of research interests, all with a focus on evaluating or developing the health workforce.
